Relaxed, not a grammar bootcamp

We use songs, games, real-life situations, and yes — a fair amount of laughter. The idea is simple: when you're relaxed, you actually speak, and when you actually speak, you actually learn. You'll pick up Serbian the way people genuinely use it, not the way it looks on a list of conjugations.

Every lesson is tailored to you

Because lessons are 1:1, everything is shaped around your age, your level, and what you actually want to do with the language. Whether you're planning a trip to Serbia, moving there, reconnecting with family, preparing for an exam, or simply want to feel confident when you open your mouth — that's what we work on. We go at your pace, not a syllabus's.

The fun never comes at the cost of precision. It is true, I'm not a grammar person at heart - more by training than by temperament. So every question gets a clear, honest explanation — not just the rule, but the why behind it. If you want to understand the fine difference in meaning between two words, a subtle shift in syntax, or why Serbians phrase something the way they do, we go there. No question is too small or too nerdy.

What a lesson actually looks like

  • 50 minutes per session — enough time to really get somewhere without burning out
  • We meet online — Google Meet, Events, whichever suits you
  • Your own Google Doc — a personal, growing document with all your teaching materials, videos, exercises, and explanations, made just for you and yours to keep
  • Between lessons — I check your homework and answer any questions that come up, so you're never stuck on something until next time
